We are working with our processor at the moment to get everything setup and to ensure that we are following all local, state and federal laws concerning the acceptance of a credit card payment. We have decided that we will only be offering up to 50 slots generally for Teamspeak 3. This does not mean that you will not be able to order more then 50 slots if you need more. You will simple need to contact our Sales Department at [email protected] to request anything over 50 slots. We have based this decision by the max number of slots ordered by any given customer over our time of hosting TS3.

Over our years of hosting Teamspeak 3 we have been collecting data on how many slots our customers order. We currently offer a range of 5 slots all the way up to 100 slots in five slot increments. After reviewing all our previous orders, we have decided to make some changes in the number of slots we generally offer. We are in the final stages of deciding how many slots we do offer in general. Once we make our final decision on this we will post the news.

We have not posted any news on our site recently. We have been very busy over the past couple months just maintaining our servers and making decisions about our site. Over the next couple weeks, we will be doing alot of work on our site as well as our billing system. It has been awhile since we posted any news so we decided it would be a good time to do so. Over the past couple of months we have made alot of changes with our Teamspeak 3 servers. We have replaced almost all of our servers, relocated and changed IP’s on many of them. DDoS attacks were quite high over the past couple months which is what led us to make the majority of our changes. Our VPS sales started out really well but have dwindled over the months since opening the service. This is mainly because we have not advertised it very much since our opening for it. Our Dedicated Servers have been at a stand still and are still at that point. We will be working in our system to get our Dedicated Servers up for sale here in the near future. We have released our domain sales a couple of months ago and are still planning out the page for it. We hope to finalize the domains page before the end of the year. We are also in the process of adding SSL Certificates to our arsenal. You can look forward to seeing this as a service early in 2012. The biggest news we have is that we are in the process of experimenting with game servers. We have obtained a reseller account for game servers and currently have one team that is “testing” out the waters with our chosen company. Once we get some feedback from the one team we have we will be looking into possibly making Game Servers as one of our services pending their review.
As you can see, we have had quite alot going on over the past couple months. We don’t intend to stop until we have all the service we want to offer up and running the way we intend them to run. Last night we introduced a new program to all our VPS customers. We are not going to list exactly what the new program is
however, we are in the process of expanding the program out to other services. It will take some time to decide on the specifics of the program based on the service we decide to offer it to next as it is complicated to setup on our end. We are doing everything we can to make it as simple for our customers as we possibly can which is why it takes some time to plan it out. Recently we upgraded our LA Teamspeak Server to a better server. During this process, we also migrated all our Seattle, WA customers onto the new LA server. We are working on procuring a new server out of Seattle at this time however we do not have a set date as of yet for when this will happen. Because of the relatively short distance between LA and Seattle we did not expect there to be any latency issues. So far this has held true. We will not be updating our order form to remove Seattle from the list as a location option at this time. We are just notifying everyone that even if you select Seattle that you will actually be out of LA until we are able to get services back up and running in Seattle. Our billing/support ticket system will be going offline for up to 48 hours around the 2nd of September. Our live support will be online for as much as possible during this transition to handle any support issues that may occur during this update, however, we can not promise 24/7 live support. We are in the process of adding an SSL which will add an additional layer of security for all of our clients. In order to finalize this new layer of security, it will require some downtime. We will update this post as we manage to nail down a more specific date as to when this update will occur. We will be planning on migrating Dallas on July 20th at 9AM EST. We will be setting up IP forwarding so there is minimal downtime. There will be a short downtime of 5 to 15 minutes while we migrate the data over, turn-up the new server, and setup the IP forwarding.
If the old Dallas server has problems or issues and you’re still utilizing the OLD IP address, you will experience downtime.
The new IP address for Dallas will be: 205.251.139.51. if you connect with the dal3.strikeforcehosting.com hostname then you should not need to make any changes as everything will change over on it’s own once propagation is complete.
Due to recent issues at our current data center and poor support by the technical staff we have decided that it is in everyone’s best interest so we’ve opted to move to a new data center with a new server and reliable support.
If you have any issues or questions concerning this migration please submit a support ticket and we will answer all questions as fast as we can.

We performed an emergency migration of our Teamspeak 3 Frankfurt server at 7/15/2011 12AM EST.
Currently Frankfurt is running on a backup server at 94.76.198.77. We will be forwarding this traffic to the new server once the move is complete so DNS has time to propigate, meaning there will be no downtime except for when we physically turn off the old server and turn on the new server which should take no longer then 5 minutes.
If you’re using the IP address to connect to your Teamspeak 3 server you will need to change that to 213.152.170.59. We always recommend you use the hostname which is fg3.strikeforcehosting.com to connect to your server.
We apologize for the inconvience and issues we’ve had with the recent DDoS attacks, due to poor support at our data center we’ve opted to move to a new location with better support, new hardware, and a bigger pipe. We’ve also had numerous routing issues in the past with our current Frankfurt data center affecting many of our users in Europe, this too should also be fixed with this new move.
